The Swan Wreck is otherwise affectionately known as 'Fluffy Duck' and was a Royal Australian Navy River Class Destroyer Escort, which is now the home of hundreds of fish species and a mecca for scuba divers to explore.

The Swan was scuttled for diving in 1997 and as an artificial reef system and is a perfect training ground for all levels for divers. The Swan is also a fantastic site for technical diver wanting to explore all the wreck has to offer as well as honing their training & skills.

The former HMAS Swan, a 113 metre long x 12.5 meter wide and 23 meter high is a decommissioned naval destroyer. Which now inhabits an abundance of marine life from large schools of Bulls Eye's that engulf the many rooms, King George whiting and brim swimming around the hull. The inquisitive Samson fish gives divers an added bonus when looking around the wreck, along with blue devil fish and sweep. The list is simply endless.

The Swan Wreck is set up for novice and experienced divers, with dives available year round, subject to weather conditions. The best time of year to dive the HMAS Swan is between September to June.

The vessel departs 08:00 from and returns approximately 13:00 to Port Geographe Marina, allowing easy and safe equipment loading and passenger disembarking at the loading dock. Meaning no sand in your expensive dive gear! Facilities also include hot showers and cold beers.
